9 September 2025 - update to services
Over the weekend of Saturday 20 September 2025 and Sunday 21 September 2025 we will be running these weekend services all the way to Saxton Stadium, the venue of the Nelson Home and Garden Show 2025. Both Saturday and Sunday services will depart:
9:30 am Motueka isite to Saxton Stadium
1:40pm Saxton Stadium to Motueka isite
The Motueka Coastal Bus will be following the standard coastal route.
Bus fares $6 one-way per person.

Please note: The Sunday 21 September 2025 service above, will replace the usual 1pm departure from Motueka to Richmond.
Sunday 13 July 2025 - Service is running.
Diversion in place due to road closures on Aporo Road and Stafford Drive. Can pick-up in Tasman then back out to State Highway 60 and into Mapua if booked.

Service on Sunday 13 July 2025 - assessement will be carried out on Saturday re: road closures, slips, fallen trees along the route. We already know Stafford Drive is closed along the coastal route due to a landslide (as at 11 July 2025).
Get the family together over Summer and enjoy our weekend services linking Motueka, Tasman, Ruby Bay, Mapua and Richmond. From here you can explore an even wider area by jumping on an E-bus from the Richmond interchange and heading into Nelson. Saturday market anyone? Leave your car at home and enjoy a relaxing ride with our community operated transport service. You'll be travelling with our volunteer drivers who are locals!
