The Wakefield Community Bus was set up by the Nelson Tasman Community Transport in August 2018 and now runs twice a week from Wakefield to Richmond. The service is run entirely by volunteers with financial assistance from Tasman District Council and others. We also acknowledge the valuable assistance of Wendy Pearson, Four Square supermarkets and Wakefield Homestead, who provides the bus at running cost.
